Way to go, Heather. You are awesome. I've had the opportunity to visit the Eastern Shore Sanctuary and Education Center. It's a wonderful place you're helping.
I like Reno, too. I have a good friend there.
This feels a little like when I greet my Dad at the end of a marathon. I have merely followed the event - the saga - while the participants did all the work. But this event is different; it is infused with heartfelt and selfless dedication to improve the world. I am overwhelmed by your and Virgil's tireless efforts throughout the blogathon, sacrificing on behalf of the forgotten, the neglected, and the suffering among us.
You're almost at the finish line. Then you can sleep. Sleep well.
