Barn Swallows

Here are three barn swallows sitting on a power line behind our home. I think their coloring is so beautiful. I hope they were nesting in our outbuilding! Or just stopping by to eat bugs. Did you know that barn swallows fly through the air to eat insects? They are great to have around, especially for fly and mosquito control. They are found in North America during the warm summer months. Posted by Picasa
